Start by rinsing the fresh strawberries and spinach thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides. Hull the strawberries and set them aside.
In a blender, combine the hulled strawberries, fresh spinach, frozen banana, almond milk, and chia seeds.
Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, usually about 30-60 seconds. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, add a little more almond milk to achieve your desired consistency.
Taste the smoothie; if you prefer it sweeter, add honey or maple syrup, and blend again for a few seconds.
For an extra chill, add a few ice cubes and blend until smooth.
Pour the smoothie into a tall glass and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.
