Instructions
Start by preparing your ingredients. Dice the mango and pineapple into small, uniform pieces.
Finely chop the red bell pepper and onions. Soak the chopped onion in cold water for about 10 minutes if you prefer a milder flavor, then drain.
Carefully deseed and mince the jalapeño. Keep some seeds if you like your salsa spicy.
In a mixing bowl, combine the diced mango, pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, and jalapeño.
Add the fresh cilantro, lime juice, and honey (if using) to the mixture.
Gently fold the mixture together until all ingredients are well combined.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, adjusting as desired for flavor.
Allow the salsa to rest for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Notes
Serve in a chilled bowl garnished with cilantro. Pairs well with tortilla chips or grilled fish.
