Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 packet (1 oz) dry ranch dressing mix

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Cooked rice or pasta (for serving)

Instructions

Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot in a single layer.

In a medium bowl, mix together the dry ranch dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth.

Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is well-coated.

Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.

About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese to melt and blend into the sauce.

Once done, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot, mixing it into the creamy sauce.

Serve the angel chicken over cooked rice or pasta and garnish with chopped parsley.
