Ingredients
2
cups
plain Greek yogurt
2
tablespoons
honey or maple syrup (to taste)
1
cup
dark chocolate chips
1
cup
fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
0.5
cup
crushed nuts (such as almonds or pistachios)
1
pinch
sea salt
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy removal of the yogurt bark later.
In a mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract (if using). Mix until smooth and well combined.
Spread the yogurt mixture evenly onto the prepared baking sheet, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
Melt the dark chocolate chips in the microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
Drizzle the melted chocolate over the yogurt layer, using a spoon to create a marbled effect by swirling it into the yogurt.
Evenly distribute the sliced strawberries and crushed nuts on top of the yogurt and chocolate mixture.
Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the top to enhance the flavors.
Freeze the bark for at least 3-4 hours or until completely solid.
Once frozen, break the bark into pieces using your hands or a knife.
Enjoy immediately or store pieces in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.
Notes
