Instructions
Prep the Ingredients: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to set the dipped pretzel rods later.
Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, add the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. Repeat the same process with the white chocolate chips in a separate bowl.
Dip the Pretzel Rods: Take a pretzel rod and dip it into the melted semi-sweet chocolate, coating about two-thirds of the rod. Allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
Add Toppings: Immediately after dipping, sprinkle crushed nuts or rainbow sprinkles over the chocolate-covered area. If desired, lightly sprinkle a pinch of sea salt for a sweet and salty effect.
Set the Chocolate: Place the dipped pretzel rod on the lined baking sheet. Repeat the process for all pretzel rods.
Drizzle with White Chocolate: Once all rods are dipped and set, take the melted white chocolate and drizzle it over the pretzel rods using a fork or a piping bag for a decorative touch.
Cool and Set: Let the pretzel rods sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets, or place them in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes to speed up the process.
Serve and Enjoy: Once chocolate is set, your Choco-Crazy Pretzel Rods are ready to be enjoyed!
