2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 package ready-made puff pastry (2 sheets)

1 egg (for egg wash)

½ cup marinara sauce (for serving)

Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.

      Roll Out Puff Pastry: On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry sheets to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut each sheet into squares that are approximately 5x5 inches.

        Fill the Pillows: Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each pastry square. Be careful not to overfill, as this may cause spilling during baking.

          Seal the Pillows: Fold the pastry over the filling to form a triangle (or rectangle if preferred) and press the edges together tightly. Use a fork to crimp the edges for an added seal and decorative touch.

            Egg Wash: Beat the egg in a small bowl and brush the tops of each filled pastry with the egg wash to give them a golden color when baked.
